Step Up Step Up

Its been a bit quiet on the Blog front recently, wedding prepartions, stag parties, new babies and hip operations have been taking up all our time, but Rosy hasn’t stopped in the workshop.

He has refined his Step up board for 2009, not that we are likely to get any waves to test it out for wee while yet : )

O’Neil Cold Water Classic Results

The comp is over, dominated by Austrilians, 5 out of the 8 in the quarters were from the new country, the final was contested by Luke Munro and ADAM MELLING, with melling taking home the bacon. $20,000 is ok for a weeks work if you ask me. Check out all the results here

Surf Exposure Meter

Transworld surf publish a Surf exposure meter, a tally of all the print lines your fav surfers get, from ad campaigns to exposure in magazines. Sometimes numbers are cool, eh?

Seems Jordy is the man this year, follow this link, takes a while to load.

Check the amount of exposure your fav photogs are getting……Im just off the list at number 1 billion.

UK Pro Surf Tour

Its competition season
Started class with parko taking first two events, I think he will take the title this year, love watching him at the moment. I hear the NWSC comp went down a treat also, with meanbox taking the title, great to see such a high standard of surfing locally.

The O’neil coldwater classic starts this weekend and the forecast looks epic, will be worth watching Thurso in action, check it out (there is a link on the homepage).

The UKPSA has a full schedule of competitions lined up, if you can catch one they are worth the trip, Portrush at the end of summer has a great event. http://www.ukprosurf.com/events-c17.html
